On October 7, 1763, Great Britain created a boundary through the Appalachian Mountains. This formed the separation between Native Americans and Colonists. This was created to stop the conflict between the two groups. This angered the colonist that they didn´t get a say in the creation of the boundary.
The Boston Tea Party 1773
This group of women was formed to protest the Stamp Act then eventually the Townshend Acts. The women would get together and have sowing parties to make clothing and other goods so colonists wouldn´t have to buy from the British.
The Intolerable Acts 1774
On the night of March 5th, colonists had been harassing British soldiers. Eventually the Redcoats fired and ended up killing 5 colonists. This event was used to show other colonies that a change was needed.
The First Continental Congress 1774
After the British had continued to tax the colonists on tea, the colonists dressed as Native Americans and got onto one of the British ships carrying tea. The colonists began dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor.
As a result of the Boston Tea Party, the British passed the Intolerable Acts which were a set of laws that were meant to punish the colonists. This ended town meetings and closed the Boston Harbor.
