Girl forgets something whilst walking out of the door. Realises it was keys and tries to go back and get it but is locked out.
I think I may have forgotten something...
Crunched; faint glow; door slammed; trapped warm air; snow flake confetti; toy town; snow blanket.
Oh no! My keys!
undidentifiable thought reaches from back of mind; lone car; snow float; thin, crisp air; footprint temporarily scarring snow.
Looks through murky glass; spots beloved backpack; face pulls into a cringe; mouth loosens and morphs into a frown
Realises keys and phone are stuck, trapping her out;
Hammers on door; heart throbs with hope; despair envelopes like a blanket
The despair flows out in the form of a tear, falling down her face, her knees following close behind, crumpling the perfect blanket
