  • I heard a voice cry “Sleep no more!Macbeth does murder sleep”—the innocent sleep,
  • Sleep that knits up the raveled sleeve of care,
  • The death of each day’s life, sore labor’s bath,
  • Macbeth hears a voice telling him that he cannot sleep because he committed murderand and that the innocent can sleep but he can not because he is guilty and he feels guilty for his actions.
  • Macbeth talks about how sleep is the thing you need to rest your body and it is something the heals and protects your body at the end of the day.
  • Macbeth continues to say that sleep protects you from life's death he also described it as sore labors bath meaning it cleans and heals you body from the day.
