The Burning of Gaspee was an event that involved the Gaspee, a ship that was carrying raw materials to England to be taxed for shipping. The Colonists shot the ship a few times with flaming arrows to burn it.
The Boston Tea Party was a very expensive result of the King of England decided to put a tax on tea leaves and such. Over $ 1,700,000 worth of tea into the harbor.
This day was the marker of the final stage of America gaining its well-deserved freedom. Georgia was unable to come to this event because of border issues but, The American and women pulled through and became Independent.
