The Proclamation of 1763 was a law passed by the British that said that colonists are not allowed to go west of the Appalachian Mountains, passed because colonists were moving into Native American land, making the Native Americans mad, resulting in war. The British did not want to send troops to support the colonists because it was expensive so they decided to just pass a law forcing the colonists to stay east of the Appalachian Mountains.

The Townshend acts were just laws that were passed enforcing taxes on glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea. This let the tax collectors to weed out smuggled goods. This made the Colonists furious taking away power from there government and caused the Daughters of Liberty which was a boycott on British goods.

The Boston Massacre started as an argument between colonist and a soldier, but it more heated when nearby colonists heard the argument and started throwing snowballs and insults at the soldiers. Then a group of nearby soldiers over heard and they went over to see what was happening. But when someone yelled fire the British shot and three were killed. The colonists then used this as propaganda and was then named "The Boston Massacre."

The Boston Tea party was a huge riot based on taxed tea. The British decided to let India sell strait to the colonies instead of making it go through England first. They thought it would get them more money as the colonists would stop smuggling the tea and would buy tea which they could tax and hopefully calm down the colonists . But since tea was still taxed they rioted and threw an a couple boatloads of tea into the Boston Harbor.
The Intolerable acts were British laws that punished the colonies citizens for the participating Boston Tea Party. British thought that it would bring law and order to the colonies. But instead this lead to a revolution.
The First Continental Congress was a huge meeting in Philadelphia where 12 of the 13 Colonies to organize resistance against parliament . This started not only the revolutionary war but the start of America.
