No colonist can settle beyond the Appalachian mountains.
The Daughters of Liberty
Let's boycott the taxed goods!
I don't know if that is a good idea....
We can make our own clothes and live without certain goods!
The Boston Massacre
Fire! I dare you to fire!
Fire you no good British scum.
In 1763 the British pass a law that prevent the colonists of the thirteen colonies to settle beyond the Appalachian mountains. This was the start of a domino effect of things that lead to the revolution.
The Boston Tea Party
We REFUSE to pay taxes.
A group of women decide to boycott, or stop buying certain items to protest taxes. They also held spinning parties to make their own clothes. This was a main beginning step of the revolution.
The Intoelerable Acts
Until further notice the boston harbor is closed and the British will start raising taxes again.
The colonists hold a protest against the British. And they take it out on the soldiers. Multiple unarmed colonists are shot and die and one dies of injury. This is what majorly fueled the revolution throughout the colonies.
The First Continental Congress
The colonists dress up as Indians and throw boxes of tea into the sea in reaction to the Tea Act. An act that greatly increases tax on tea. This is a very well known part of the revoloution
The British pass some new laws. Including the closing of the Boston harbor and raised taxes on certain goods.
The first Continental Congress for the colonies is in Philadelphia to try to solve their issues with the British. Without violence preferably, but that is one wish that will not be answered.
We need to figure out a solution for all of this.
