  • I don't care what the Parliament says! I'm settling on the land we won.
  • The stamp act  1765
  • I did not choose to tax this.
  • This is outrageous! 
  • The Boston Massacre  1770
  • Why did you shoot?!
  • The proclamation of 1763 is a law made by the king to not let colonists settle west of the appellation Mountains. The land was given to the Native Americans to settle on.
  • The Tea Act /Boston Tea Party 1773
  • The Stamp act was a tax on all paper products. The act put a seal on the paper product that you had to buy or be sent to jail.
  • The Intolerable Acts  1774
  • Thank you for housing and feeding me.
  • The colonists were protesting and when the British solders told the colonist to leave they refused. The solders heard "fire" and fired at the crowd. Three people died on the spot and more later.
  • The First Continental Congress 1774
  •  The act on tea made many colonists angry so they boycotted. When that didn't work they dressed up as Native Americans and threw 340 chests full of tea off the boat.
  • Boston Harbor will become a tea harbor!
  • The British prime minister was angry when he heard what the colonists did. Parliament made the Coercive Acts, called the Intolerable Acts by the colonists, to punish colonists.

  • The First Continental Congress was a meeting of delegates to discuss what to do about the Coercive Acts.
