2nd Punic War
WE DON"T HAVE ENOUGH MATERIALS TO BREAK DOWN THEIR WALL.
3rd Punic War
RUN RUN THE ROMANS ARE BURNING OUR CROPS AND OUR CITY!
The First Punic War was started by the Romans, they attacked because of their fear for the Carthaginians. The Romans won by moving the war from the water to land. The Romans knew that Carthage had a stronger navy, so they beat them with their army. The Carthaginians then greed to make peace and they left Sicily.
The Carthaginians attacked the Romans by land from north. They didn't have enough supplies to break own Romes walls and so they raided, burning villages and crops. Then the Romans burned Carthage and Hannibal had to return. Romans won and Carthaginians agreed to pay them money, crops and all their land including Spain.
The Romans attacked because Carthaginians were regaining power. They burnt Carthage and put salt into the fields so nothing would grow. Then they became the leading power of the Mediterranean world.
