  • We cannot let the colonists think that they can do what ever they want

  • Fire!
  • The Proclamation of 1763 was made so that the British couldn't settle west of the Appalachian mountains and had to leave the Ohio river valleys. This proclamation was created so there would be less fighting between the British and the Indians because of Colonists settling on Indian land.
  • The Tea Act 1773 
  • The Declaratory Act is a law that allowed Britain to make any other laws when ever they wanted. This act was important because Britain wanted to make sure that the colonists couldn't do what ever they wanted. This then lead to more protesting and soon the Boston Massacre.
  • The Intolerable Acts 1774
  • That's why we created the intolerable acts
  • The colonist were not happy about British soldiers standing guard around the colonist so they started throwing things. Then Someone yelled fire and killed three men and 2 died later. Colonists eventually called it the shootings of the Boston massacre.This event united the colonists against Britain.
  • The First Continental Congress 1774 
  • We cant let the British keep taxing and controlling us
  • The tea act let India's company to sell tea directly to the colonists . The British hoped that this would lead to less smuggling and more taxing. The colonists decided to protest by dumping 340 tea chest into the harbor. This was soon to be known as the boston tea party.
  • Throw away all the tea!!

  • The intolerable acts were created to punish Boston Because of the Boston tea party. These laws were created in hope to bring back order to the colonists. But these new laws only angered the colonists. This then lead to the First Continental Congress.
  • Those colonists are really annoying with all there protesting
  • The First Continental Congress Got all the colonies together to create to make a compact to boycott British goods. The First Continental Congress was one of important steps to the revolution because this cot all of the colonies together to fight against the British
