Over the river and through the woods
Three slaves who have lived on a plantation their whole lives decide to escape after there uncle was killed for something simple. They eventually get to freedom after many hardships.
Their new master showed them their new home. He said, "This is where you will work from now on. You will live in those cabins over there in the woods. Now leave.
Everyone else was sad for their new future but Uncle Lawson was very hopeful. "We can escape", he said. "It will be hard, but I know we can do it. We must stay quiet about it though."
They thought about it for a long time. They eventually said yes. They did not know what was to come though.
A gun shot rang out piercing the beautiful, sunny day. Uncle Lawson was gone.
You have not obeyed my orders correctly again. I am done with you!
We have to leave now! For Uncle Lawson. Its now or never.
Let's do it! Right now. We have to get out of this terrible place!
They wandered for miles and miles only guided by the North Star.
They were almost caught many times. Thankfully they always had the cover of the darkness.
Where are they!!!!!!!!
