  • Was people protesting against the British. They though being taxed was unfair. Then the colonist started smuggling. The punishment was tarring and feathering. So the colonist was yelling at the red coats and then the read coast shot one of the colonist.   
  • First Continental Congress-October 1774
  • The colonist wanted England to lower the tea prices. England still made them pay.  That also hurt the colonial trade. So the colonist rebelled and dumped tea in to the Boston harbor.
  • They closed the Boston Harbor. The town had a meeting ending legislature restriction and a new governor. That lead to colonist getting angry that lead to the first Continental congress. 
  • The First Continental congress was a meeting between colonists representatives form every colony but Georgia. They discussed whether or not the colonists should use militaristic force. The colonists decided they would continue to boycott but told the militia to be ready for war.
