  • You may not settle west of that there mountain range, unless given further permission!
  • Why not? This is an outrage!
  • The Stamp Act-1765
  • Why?
  • I here by declare that you will have to buy a stamp for every paper product you buy.
  • What's the point?
  • The Boston Massacre-1770
  • Don't make me call my men on you!
  • I dare you!
  • The British earned land west of the Appalachian Mountains, but didn't let their colonists to settle there, and the colonists were unhappy.
  • The Tea Act/Boston Tea Party-1773
  • All of the tea is gone!
  • The government created a tax on paper products that said you had to buy a stamp for each paper product you say.
  • The Intolerable Acts-1774
  • But little boy, we are in a war and the Quartering Act says you have to let me stay here!
  • The colonists were bullying one British soldier, and he called other ones, and gun firing got out of control.

  • The colonists were protesting against the British and dumped over 1 million dollars in tea into the Boston Harbor.
