Now we get to learn about the rock cycle! First when igneous rocks get weathered and eroded it gets broken down into things called sediments. Next, when the sediments get compacted they become sedimentary rocks. Then when sedimentary rocks get heated and pressured they form metamorphic rocks. Then any of the rocks can melt and cool to become igneous and the proccess reapeates itself.
First, we have the igneous rock. An igneous rock form when magma cools.
Next, we have the sedimentary rock. The sedimentary rock forms when water, ice, or wind carry particles that come together to form a rock.
Last we have the metamorphic rock! The metamorphic rock forms under intense heat and pressure under the earth crust.
