Storyboard Text

  • All rocks come from magma or lava. This rock directly cooled from lava, it is a igneous rock
  • Above ground rocks get weathered chemically and physically. They get broken down into mud and sand.
  • After being taken to a new place by water ice or wind, compaction and cementation turn it into a sedimentary rock.
  • After heat and pressure the rock becomes a metamorphic rock
  • While underground the metamorphic melts into magma
  • Once the magma ,or if it came above ground lava, cools it turns into an igneous rock again
