Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Sit.. Sit.. Let me explain why I am here right now.
  • We would rather not sit. Save us some time and please just tell us the story.
  • Officer Fox
  • I agree with Officer Fox, please tell us.
  • Detective Phillips
  • Inciting Incident
  • Rising Action
  • zzzzzzzz
  • After ending up in prison, a former caregiver is explaining to a detective how he murdered his patient. The detective wants to know the full story to make sure that his theory lines up with the prisoner's story. After hearing the story, the detective writes it down and then tells it himself.
  • Climax
  • About two weeks ago, a former caretaker slowly began to develop an obsession with his patient's eye. All he could think about was they blind eye, with a blue film over it.
  • Falling Action
  • *Knock Knock*
  • His obsession got so bad that, every night for seven nights the caretaker would look into his patient's room and observe him, plotting when he would take his life. When the eighth night came, the caretaker tip toed in his bedroom once more. When he did this, he immediately saw the eye positioned in the best way possible. With a little ray of light on it, the blue eye gleamed. So the caretaker decided that he was going to make his move. Waiting for the perfect time to do the deed, he stood in the doorway of the bedroom for about an hour.

  • Resolution
  • I did it! I admit the crime!
  • When the perfect time came, the caretaker sprang up and suffocated the old man with a mattress. He sat on the mattress until he heard the heart beat of his patient stop. Knowing he had finally rid the poor man and his eye, he felt victorious.
  • *muffled heart beat*
  • *heart beat stops*
  • When the caretaker realized he had to cover his tracks, he sliced the old man up in the bathtub, and buried his remains in the floor boards. Hearing a knock on the door, the caretaker went to answer it at once, he then found police waiting to search the house. Acting calmly, the caretaker then invited the police in to rest from their fatigues.
  • After the police searched the house (finding nothing), they sat down and had a conversation about the old man being out of the country. All of the sudden, the caretaker began to feel a little nervous, for he had so much to fear. His heart began to race, and he wondered if the beating was the old man's heart. He began to get paranoid, thinking that the police could hear the beating and were making a mockery out of him by acting normal. He began to go crazy, and admitted the crime.

All of the sudden, the caretaker began to feel a little nervous, for he had to fear so much. His heart began to race, and he wondered if the beating was the old man's heart. He began to get paranoid, thinking that the police were making a mockery of him by acting like completely normal people. He began to go crazy, and admitted the crime.
  • *heart races*
