- The 95 theses was the central document of the Protestant Reformation created by Martin Luther.The theses represented a direct challenge to the Church, and become the catalyst for reformation.
- An indulgence was a way to reduce the amount of punishment one has to undergo for sins. The church were selling indulgences to make more money for the church.
