Storyboard Text

  • The  cupcakes  are made of  hydrogen.   The bread  is made of  oxygen.   Hydrogen has a lower electronegativity than oxygen because oxygen wants to gain an electron more to become stable.
  • The table is made of tin.  The counter is made of aluminum.  Since aluminum is farther from the noble gas it has a lower electron affinity.
  • The  lamp post is made out of silver.  Silver has  a high ionization energy because it only has to gain seven electrons to become stable.
  • The bench has an iron bottom.  Iron has a larger atomic radius because it is  closer to the left bottom corner on the periodic table.
  • The cars in this lot are made of aluminum.  The cars have a  smaller a smaller ionic size because the  element they are made out of is closer to the upper right corner of the periodic table.
