Chemistry Periodic Trends
This storyboard does not have a description.
The cupcakes are made of hydrogen. The bread is made of oxygen. Hydrogen has a lower electronegativity than oxygen because oxygen wants to gain an electron more to become stable.
The table is made of tin. The counter is made of aluminum. Since aluminum is farther from the noble gas it has a lower electron affinity.
The lamp post is made out of silver. Silver has a high ionization energy because it only has to gain seven electrons to become stable.
The bench has an iron bottom. Iron has a larger atomic radius because it is closer to the left bottom corner on the periodic table.
The cars in this lot are made of aluminum. The cars have a smaller a smaller ionic size because the element they are made out of is closer to the upper right corner of the periodic table.
