John is traveling with family and friends, they are traveling for the homestead act in 1870 in the desert . Yomitan is the one with the black hair is a Japanese immigrant and Mark is been living in the near John and, they had already met and were friends and started traveling together .

As John was traveling there was a dust storm he thought he was safe but the storm came closer to him and Yomitan and Mark where not to close so he or them would have to run but they still stayed there they were deciding.
