Germany's "Lightening War" May-June 1940
The attack on Guernica was for the Nazi leaders to experiment their new strategy of how their planes work. The world saw the Germans as the destructive power of modern warfare. The Spanish Civil War was viewed as a "dress rehearsal" for upcoming wars.
Attack on Pearl Harbor December 1941
Hitler took Sudetenland from the Czechs. Hitler broke the Munich Pact made by France and Britain and annexed the rest of Czechoslovakia. Germany then invaded Poland, France and Britain declared war on Germany.
Battle of the Bulge December 1944
The blitzkrieg overran Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, and France. The lightening war includes of the Luftwaffe bombings, fast moving tanks, and troops sent to destroy. Using this strategy Germany was able to conquer Europe quickly and successfully.
U.S. Drop the Atomic Bomb on Japan August 1945
United States banned the sale of war materials to Japan, thus why Japan destroyed the battleships and aircrafts of Pearl Harbor. United States declared war on Japan. European and American possessions in the Pacific fell in the hands of the Japanese.
Battle of the Bulge was the last major German offensive campaign of the Western front. Germany failed to stop the Allied use of Belgian port of Antwerp and dividing the Allied lines. The victory of the Allies was breaking the Siegfried line when German had collapse.

American planes dropped the atomic bomb over the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end the war in the pacific. The atomic bomb created an enormous catastrophic for both cities. And Emperor Hirohito was forced to surrender and sign a formal peace treaty.
