- Javier is a teenager who is forced to spend the summer at the home of some uncles he doesn't know, after his father's illness. Despite his poor expectations, this time ends up being the best of his life.
- With his cousin Violeta, with whom he ends up in love, Javier discovers the ghost of Beatriz Obregón, who is considered the family thief for stealing an emerald and diamond necklace called Shiva's tears.

- The theft of this jewel was the cause of hatred between the Obregón family and Mendoza.
- Javier discovers that it was not Beatriz who kept the necklace, otherwise Amalia, one of his assistants.
