Background: Was born in county side of England in 1632. He earned a spot at a prestigious boarding school in far-off London. He was greatly influenced by his father. Between 1642 and 1651, during Locke's childhood, a civil war enraged in England.
Background:Born in England in 1588, wrote fear and I were born twins. His father was a clergyman. He traveled many times to meet writers.
Achievements: In 1651 Hobbes wrote his most famous works leviathan. In it , he argued that people are naturally wicked and cannot be to govern.
Published Works: "In Leviathan Hobbes wrote that humans are driven by a prenatal and restless desire for power... that ceases only in death and that the natural condition of human kind is a situation of a war of every man against every man".(Document 2B)
