I was born on the day of April 3rd 1934. I currently live in London, but my dream is to live in Tanzania. I have been to these colleges, University of Cambridge (1965), Darwin College, Cambridge (1962–1964), Newnham College, Cambridge .
Hi, my name is Jane Goodall!
One of the most important findings that I have found out from chimpanzees is that they use tools! Sometimes, I would notice that chimpanzees modified the grass for a long-handled spoon to eat termites.
I have moved to Tanzania!
The destruction of chimpanzees’ habitats, as well as poaching, stands to seriously threaten chimp populations. That's why I, Jane Goodall have worked tirelessly on conservation efforts to save these special animals.
These animals are my best friends!
In 1977, I founded the Jane Goodall Institute, with 31 offices around the world, I and the Institute are widely recognized for effective community-centered conservation and development programs in Africa and the protection of wild chimpanzees in Africa’s largest chimpanzee sanctuary.
Jane Goodall Institute!
I have noticed that ethologists had long believed that chimps were exclusively vegetarian. I however have witnessed chimps stalking, killing, and eating large insects, birds, and some bigger animals, including baby baboons and bush backs (small antelopes).
Some of my favorite quotes are Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference. The greatest danger to our future is apathy. Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved.
