First Continental Congress: Meeting of colonies except for Geeorgia met in Philadelphia. Included George Wshington Ben Franklin and Patrick Henry. Delgates gathered to discuss problems in the colonies and report these problems.
The Battle of Lexington and Concord: British battled 70 minutemen. British stood strong and marched onward to Concord where citizens had already been informed. The minutemen took on the Redcoats and forced them to retreat with multiple casualties.
The Second Continental Congress: Delegates from 12 colonies met in Philadelphia in 1775 to discuss wether to move forward in peace or war after being rejected by King George III. Out of this the First Cintinental Army was created and Geroge Washington was put in charge of this militia.
