  • Sure. Once you learn the easy steps to long division, you'll love it!
  • Sure.
  • There are two ways to do it, but we are going to do the traditional way
  • Wow! That's it? That was pretty simple.
  • There is a simple way to do it. Dad= Divide, Mom= Multiply, Sister= Subtract, Cat= Compare, and Brother= Bring Down 
  • What are remainders?
  • They are the numbers that are left over or don't go into the dividend evenly.
  • Now let's talk about  remainders!
  • Cool! I always wondered what that was for.
  • You can turn your remainder into a fraction if you want to split something, or you can turn it into decimal if you are dividing money
  • Sweet!
  • Cool! Sounds easier than I thought!
  • Lets celebrate by eating some cupcakes!
  • For example: 547 divided by 8 equals 68 remainder 3. If you turn the remainder into a fraction, it is 3/8.
