So many people from the U.S. we need more Mexicans

Haden Edwards got a contract from the Mexican government in 1825. The contact give his permission to settle families near Nacogdoches. When he got there people called the "old settlers" where there they had lived there for over 100 years. He tried to make them pay from they land but it was in the contact that he couldn't do that. In October 1826 his contact was canceled, because he don't follow the terms of the contact.
The Grass Fight
The report was wrote by General Manuel de Mier y Teran. In his report he talked about the U.S outnumbered the Tejans 10 to 1. He warned that American influence was growing stronger every day. He encouraged trade between Texas and Mexico to make trade between Texas and the U.S less strong. He made more soldiers get sent to Texas to increase Mexico's control over the region.
The Battle of the Alamo
The law banned immigration from the U.S to Texas. It made it illegal for settlers to bring slaves to Texas. Only a couple empresarios were allowed to keep they contracts. Military bases and government offices were built along the borders to with immigration. The law also began to tax all imports from the U.S. to Texas.
The Battle of San Jacinto
Texas has win its independence -Santa Anna
Mexican troops that were supposedly carrying silver were attacked to Texan troops who wanted the silver.Texans found out after attacking the Mexican troops that they were carrying grass for their horses and not silver.The Texan troops still kept the grass for their horses so that the Mexican troops horses would have no food and would die, living them to have to walk.It was called the "Grass Fight" because they were fighting over grass.I think that if they didn't keep the grass then all of the Texans horses would have died.
William B. Travis has the leader of the Alamo. He made many requests for more help but, no one came to help. On march first 32 volunteers from Goliad come to defend the Alamo. It's estimated that more that 200 soldiers helped to defend the Alamo. Texan's lost the Battle of the Alamo which led to the Runaway Scrape.
Sam Houstin was the leader of the Battle of San Jacinto. Texan soldiers found Santa Anna hiding after the war agreed to sent him back to Mexico as long as he agreed to let Texas have its independence from Mexico. Some soldiers shouted "Remember the Alamo!" at Mexican soldiers as they attacked. The present border of Mexico and Texas is the same border from after the war. Texas win its independence and later become part of the U.S.
