  • Haden Edward was the fifth empresario to get a contract from the Mexican Government in 1820.  The contract gave him permission to settle some 800 families near Nacogdoches.  But Haden did not follow the rules so the old settlers got mad.And Haden contract was canceled so Edwards supporter to action.So they made the rebellion But it collapsed after S.F.A and the Militia were coming and Haden fled.
  • The Battle of the Alamo
  • John Austin loaded the cannon on a ship at Brazoria. The Mexican troops there refused to let the rebels pass. Fighting broke out . After three days the Mexican soldiers ran out of ammunition and had to surrender.They won the battle and triumphantly arrived with the cannon.
  • The Goliad Massacre
  • On November 26 Erastus Deaf  Smith one of Burleson's scouts rode into camp.He reported that 100 Mexican soldiers with packs of animals were heading to San Antonio. They thought they were taking  silver to San Antonio.  But they quickly defeated them.  But they found out that they were taking animal feed to feed the Mexican army's animals. 
  • Battle of San Jacinto
  • Davy Crockett  wrote a letter  for aid and reinforcement. But the help never came. The Mexican army had a lot  more troops then  the Texas army. Travis sent seven more letters for help. But only some people came. The Alamo fell. Lots of Texas troops died. But the Texans fought hard.
  • Santa Anna said " Anyone who had taken up arms against the government of mexico must be executed".  Mexican soldiers killed 400 Texans outside of Goliad. They all so executed Fannin's troops. As well as Texans soldier captured outside of Victoia. Francita Alavez who Texans later referred to her as the Angel of Goliad.
  • Houston's army moved quickly to Harrisburg. When they left Buffalo Bayou they traveled to San Jacinto River . Texans camped in a grove of Live oak trees in high ground. The Mexican army were exposed to the Texans. The Texans decided to attack that afternoon but the Mexican didn't think they would attack. But the Texans attacked and the Mexicans lost the battle.
