GAS
I'm glad I got this new car but i wish I knew more about square roots & cube roots.
Cool, thanks, but first I have to pay for this gas.
Let's start with square root. Square root is when you multiply a number by itself. The square root of 100 is 10. You can do this with any number.
First we need to do an example of square root.

Okay. I think I get it, but what about cube root?
Okay, so if I tell you that this parking lot is 6 to the power of 2, what is the square root?
Correct, now let's talk about cube roots.
Well, to get the square root, you multiply the number by itself the number of times the exponent says, then it is 36.
To get a cube root, you multiply a number by itself 3 times. An example of a cube root is 5 is the cube root of 125.
Nice, now let's review to make sure you've got it down.
I think I got it now.
Okay, I know about square roots, but what's a cube root?
Okay, so cube root is when you multiply the number by itself 3 times, and square root is when you multiply the number by itself.
