- I'm glad I got this new car but i wish I knew more about square roots & cube roots.
- Cool, thanks, but first I have to pay for this gas.
- Let's start with square root. Square root is when you multiply a number by itself. The square root of 100 is 10. You can do this with any number.
- First we need to do an example of square root.

- Okay. I think I get it, but what about cube root?
- Okay, so if I tell you that this parking lot is 6 to the power of 2, what is the square root?
- Correct, now let's talk about cube roots.
- Well, to get the square root, you multiply the number by itself the number of times the exponent says, then it is 36.
- To get a cube root, you multiply a number by itself 3 times. An example of a cube root is 5 is the cube root of 125.
- Nice, now let's review to make sure you've got it down.

- Okay, I know about square roots, but what's a cube root?
- Okay, so cube root is when you multiply the number by itself 3 times, and square root is when you multiply the number by itself.
