The wall of a school is like a cell wall because they both protect. The wall protects the childeren, and the cell wall protects all of the organelles.
The vacuole is found in both of us!
The principal's office is like the nucleus because they both tell everyone/everything what to do. The principal's office and the principal tells all the student what to do, and the nucleus controls all the organelles.
The cytoplasm is found in both of us!
The cafeteria is like a mitochondria because the kids/organelles get energy from food. The cafeteria gives energy from food for the kids, and the mitochondria makes energy from food for the organelles.
The vacuole is like a swimming pool because they both hold. The swimming pool holds water for the people, and the vacuole holds water, food, and waste for the organelles. The vacuole in a plant cell is much bigger than any other organelle, but the vacuole in an animal cell is one of the smallest organelles.
My vacuole is smaller! :(
My vacuole is bigger! :)
The cytoplasm is like desks because they both hold something in place. The desks hold the students in there seats, and the cytoplasm holds the organelles in place.
The cell membrane is like the open door because it lets things in and out of the school/cell. The door lets the people come in and out of the school, and the cell membrane controls what comes in and out of the cell.
