The Bittering family has fled from Earth on a rocket, hoping to recreate life on Mars. The father, Harry, is very anxious about the idea of living on Mars, but the family reasures him.
Names, Names, Names
Laura comes running to her mother and says that the rockets on earth have been blown up, and that they will be stuck on Mars forever. Harry goes to plant his peach tree and realizes that it has grown different than on Earth. He then looks at all the other crops and finds that all the food they are growing is different than normal food.
Let's Get Moving
Harry rushes to the workshop and decides to build a rocket so his family can escape back to Earth.
Five Years Later
The family decides to go for a swim and col off, when Dan suggests that his named be changed from Dan to Linl. The name Linl, is a martians name, but both parents agree that's okay. Harry realises that the martian language is being spoken by humans.
Just in time for Summer, the Bitterings move to the Martian villas and do absolutley nothing but swim and relax.
Five years later, a lieutenant and his men arrive on Mars by rocket to retrieve the humans they sent up five years ago. They find that there are no humans, and only martians. Then they start planning and colonizing Mars.
