Industrial machinery plays a big role in climate change. Factories are emitting fossil fuels into the air, which increases the atmosphere CO2 levels. Heat gets trapped, which is why the temperatures are gradually getting warmer as time goes on.
Good morning class! Today we are going to learn about climate change and how it has effected Earth over the years.
Climate determines the weather of a region over a long period of time.
So class, In conclusion
In a region like the arctic, the temperature is very cold, which you would expect. However, over the years the climate has gotten increasingly warmer, causing the ice sheets on the water to melt, adding more volume to the oceans. Sea levels are rising because of this.
Let’s look at some examples
The Industrial Revolution introduced new machinery like steam engines and airplanes that emitted pollutions into the air.
Exhaust from cars is also responsible for the increasing CO2 levels and trapped heat in the atmosphere
Ice is melting and sea levels are rising
Hopefully one day we will figure out a way to help climate change
Temperatures and C02 levels are continuing to increase
