  • In the early 1900s nationalism had grown so strong that countries were willing to go to war to prove their superiority over their rivals. 
  •  Serbian Assassin shot and killed Archduke Francis Ferdinand, the heir to the throne of Austria Hungary. This sparked the start of WW1.
  • We made machine guns and grenades.
  • Trench Wars
  • Since the German's ignored the warnings the U.S joined WW1 on the side of the Allied powers.
  • The German U-boats attacked U.S ships and ignored the U.S's warning.
  • The treaty forced Germany take the blame for starting the war, and it made Germany slash it's army. It also made Germany pay for all the damage done during the war.
  • The allied powers won and made Germany sign the Treaty of Versailles.
