Storyboard Text

  • "Why doesn't anyone like to eat me with an egg?"
  • "Johnny, why are you always eaten with eggs?"
  • "Well, I usually put myself in the toaster before I am eaten."
  • "If I jump in the toaster, then I will be eaten with eggs because I will be toasted!"
  • This is the first part of the Scientific Method. Asking questions is always where you should start. Fred wants to know how to be eaten with eggs.
  • "Oh, boy! Here we go! Let's hope this works!"
  • The second step to the Scientific Method is research. Fred is asking his friend, Johnny, about how he gets eaten with eggs.
  • "My hypothesis was correct because I am getting eaten! Let's hope that this kid doesn't eat all of me!
  • The third step of the Scientific Method is to predict and hypothesize. Fred thinks that if he is toasted he will be eaten with eggs.
  • Fred is now testing his hypothesis. This is the fourth step of the Scientific Method. We'll see if it works!
  • The fifth step is to Analyze Results. In this step you see if your results shows that your hypothesis is correct or incorrect. Fred's hypothesis is correct!
  • The sixth step is to draw conclusions. Fred can say that when he is toasted he will have better chance to be eaten with eggs.
  • I, Fred, can conclude that bread is more likely to be eaten with eggs if the bread has been toasted.
