Lydia the Leaf loves to perform photosynthesis. She needs a few thing first like sunlight, water and carbon dioxide.
What is made
Sugar sugar sugar
Sunlight comes from the sun which is millions of miles away. The water is one of the more important things unless it's Cathy the Cactus she doesn't need very much. Carbon dioxide from animals they breathe out carbon dioxide and plants let out oxygen for animals.
Sunlight hits the surface of the leaf. Water enters the plant through roots and moves up to the leaf. Carbon dioxide enters the leaf through the stomata.
When all the ingredients mix it makes glucose which is what feeds Lydia and helps her tree live. Glucose is what feeds most plants glucose is basically sugar.
Sugar produced in chloroplasts are used for the plant cells. With the sugar it gives plant cells energy.
Lydia the leaf preformed photosyntheis and got bigger she has to do this a lot so she can eat. Lydia needs her ingredients water, sunlight and carbon dioxide.
