  • My country is better than yours!
  • Germany, 1914
  • Prove it.!
  • June 28th, 1914, 
  • Come on, almost there.
  • Sir!
  • We declare war on Serbia, and will destroy any country in our way!
  • Serbia, 1914
  • We need help. Call in Russia. We need them.
  • Germany, 1914
  • We both need to fight. If Russia and Serbia want to fight us, we will fight them.
  • What! I want to declare war! Send a telegram to Great Briton,  France, and Russia. We will fight!
  • 1918, United States
  • Sir, we have a problem. The Germans are attacking American ships.
  • Treaty of Versailles: Germany has to accept blame for the war, Germany has to slash the size of its armies and give up overseas colonies, and pay billions of dollars for damages. Austria and Hungary separate. Poland and Czechoslovakia are independent, along with Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.  
  • Germany is the blame for the war!
  • Aftermath: 8.5 million soldiers killed, 20 million soldiers wounded.
