  • Rivalries began between countries, which lead to alliances.
  • My country is Russia and it is extremely large and powerful. I bet my country could wipe out your country easily. 
  • Is that so, well my country is Austria-Hungary, and It is very powerful. I bet my country can crush yours.
  • A Serbian assassin shot and killed Archduke Francis Ferdinand, the heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary. So Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia.
  • You must stop attacking American ships with your German U-boats.
  • As a result of the Germans ignoring the U.S's warnings, the U.S. joined the Allied forces. In 1918 the Central Powers surrendered.
  • I don't think we will stop. 
  • It should say in the Treaty of Versailles that Germany  has to give up over sea colonies. 
  • And Germany has to slash the size of its army.
  • Lastly Germany should pay billions of dollars for damages caused during the war.
  • Russia shale now have a communist government. 
  • This is what Vladimir Lenin said after taking over Russia.
  • The German Empire shale be replaced by a fragile republic. And Austria Hungary are now declared separate countries.
  • And Poland and Czechoslovakia have now gained their independence. Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are also now independent.
