In the late 1800s there was a very wealthy man named Prospero. He lived in a palace, and tries his best to stay safe from a very severe disease
At Prospero’s palace there was a disease called the Red Death, since this disease killed many people they built a wall to keep everyone safe.
Prospero is very wealthy and wanted to have a masquerade party at his palace. He invited a lot of people, but there was one person at the party that no one knew (stranger).
Prospero followed the stranger into the seventh room, then suddenly Prospero dropped dead.
The dancers went into the seventh room and found Prospero lying dead on the floor. They wanted to know who the stranger was so they went up to him and saw that there was no body under his robe it was completely empty.
The stranger turns out to be the Red Death and was living in the seventh room the entire time and everyone at the palace dies because of the disease.
