  • COWBOY!
  • For Me?
  • Joe walks in and tells Petey and Calvin that it is Christmas Eve. They had blank expressions and didn't know what he was talking about. Joe explained that it was the  time of the year to spend time with family and friends. He said that if Santa  thought they were good he would leave them gifts and candy in big  socks. That night Calvin and Petey  waited anxiously throughout the night...
  • Goodbye...
  • Calvin and Petey wake up excited to open their gifts. Joe comes in and hands them their gifts. They open it and in the box is a pistol belt with a silver toy pistol. They start making their gun noises and playing. "KE,KE,KE,KE".
  • Silence
  • In the middle of their playing Calvin stopped and asked Joe about the socks. Joe went and got the stockings. They opened them and their was a bunch of candy. Calvin and Petey then realized that Joe didn't get a gift. So they both donated some candy to give to Joe. He chuckkled because it was funy but really did appreciate the thought they put in it.
  • A New Friend?
  • Joe decided he was getting too old for the job, so he decided  to retire, Calvin and Petey were shocked and silent.   They couldn't believe there only normal friend maybe even a father figure to the boys and he was leaving. After Joe left he sent letters to them to communicate for a while until...
  • The letters stopped... Calvin and Petey eventually found out what that meant.  Joe was dead. Of course Petey was upset but he was naturally positive. But Calvin,  he was hit hard. He would not talk to anyone, not even Petey. He was extremely disappointed.
  • After a while they found someone to replace Joe. Her name was Cassie. In Petey's mind she was attractive. They bonded quickly and developed a friendship. Cassie was a student nurse taking psychiatric training in Warm Springs. Although Petey was friends with her Calvin was silent and still wouldn't talk. And this would stay the same...
