  • The 1st Continental Congress
  • what do you say we unite all 13 colonies and become independent?
  • We are not sure we are are still loyal to Britain.
  • (Patriots) YES!
  • The 2nd Continental Congress
  • YES!!
  • We will build a army to defend ourselves and what other man is better to lead it than George Washington.
  • SURRENDER TO BRITIAN!
  • Battles of Lexington and Concord
  • Britain did so much for you and this is how you repay us?
  • We are independent now and you have no right to rule over us!
  • A meeting between all the leaders of the 13 colonies that was held to discuss if it was a good idea to unite all of the 13 colonies and be come Americans.
  • The 2nd Continental congress consisting of Ben Franklin, and George Washington, discussed the new British army in the 13 colonies. They then decided that they would create a continental army which would contain troops from all colonies which would be led by no other than George Washington.
  • The battles of Lexington and Concord were when the British attempted to attack the little village in Concord, Lexington. The British were angry at the American colonists for trying to be independent, therefore they attacked. Although when the British tried to attack, the Americans were ready with weapons of all sort.
