Storyboard Text

  • Exposition: The setting of the story is in the forest where it is 50 below zero.
  • Rising action: the story begins to get into detail. 
  • If i'm in the cold too long I'll get frostbite
  • hmm?
  • Is the ice going to break!
  • " fifty degrees below zero stood for a bite of frost that hurt and that must be guarded against by the use of mittens, ear flaps, warm moccasins and thick socks." (pg.332)
  • Climax: The man can't handle the cold, plus his fire begins to run low and he has no way to getting to the boys. 
  • I don't know how much longer I could last out here 
  • "at the mans heals trotted a dog , a big native husky the proper wolf dog, gray coated and without and visible or temperamental difference from its brother, the wild wolf." (pg.333)
  • Resolution: The man dies from being too cold and in the end the dog lives and gets to where the other boys are at.
