- Gunpowder which was poured down the barrel
- Greased paper cover which had to be ripped or bitten off
- Greased cardboard cartridge which was pushed down the barrel
- Bullet
- The british invade India and try to change their religion. The British also want to change their traditions.
- The Indians were angry
- NO MORE WORKING FOR THE BRITISH!!!
- The Indians were used to fight in British wars, in this wars the main weapon were the rifles. They were the cause why the Indians rebealed.
- British punishment to the Indians
- The riffles were not the problem, the problem was the cartridge, it had to be opened with the mouth. It was rumored that the caridges were covered in pork and beef grease, and the Indian's religion didn't permit them to eat meat.
- The Indian Mutiny
- The Indians got angry because their religion did not allow them to eat meat so they rebelled against the British and stopped doing their work.
- As a result of the Indian rebellions, the British had to do something to stop them from rebelling: horrible punishments. One of them was to blow their bodies up with a cannon.
- One day, the Indians were fed up with the British and decided to rebel, but clearly creating a bigger conflict. For some people that rebellion did not cause much change, but for other people it was a great change and the beginning of the Independence of India.
