Finding a stable food supply
In the Paleolithic Age, we would hunt animals for food. There were many problems with it because it was not a steady food source and it was dangerous.
We learned that we can grow our own food by collecting and planting seeds from plants
We learned about domesticating animals so we had a safer way to eat meat and that we could use them to our advantage.
Agriculture is basically just planting crops and domesticating animals for our use.
It is important because this is the best way to get our food supply because it is very stable and we have some control.
