The rules were, after school go straight to the Giver's home. Go to the training house every day, can be rude, no discussing your training with the other civilians, can't share his dream, if injured outside of training can get medication, can not apply for release, and he can lie.
The Giver's house has every book from the past history, but at the community houses the rules book are in their houses. Then his house is always locked, and everything on the inside is nicer with more details to everything.
The Giver gave Jonas the memory of snow, sunburn, and sunshine. The snow brought sleds, runners, and hills. Sunburn came with the first time feeling pain. and Sunshine held warmth.
The community is not aloud to make decisions, because there is a possibility they will make the wrong choice.
Which way should I choose?
"seeing beyond", means the ability to see color and memories others are unable to see.
