  • 1.) The stock market crash of 1929. 2.) Bank Failures. 3.) Reduction In Purchasing Across the Board. 4.) American Economic Policy with Europe. 5.) Drought Conditions. The most effective is the drought conditions because with the drought, all the crops were dead and the stock market was crashing.

  • Rugged individualism is the belief that almost all individuals can succeed on their own, and the help from the government should be minimal. And Hoover feared of using the government too much to help the Americans because it could eventually lead to the people taking advantage of it and the government loosing billions of dollars.

  • Hoovervilles were a small village or a small town made up of cardboard, glass, and anything the citizens could find.
  • President  Roosevelt 's new deal was   a series of programs and projects  instituted during the great  depression  by Franklin D. Roosevelt
  • A right that allowed people to get a useful and remunerative jobs in the nation, and it was made to help make enough to provide necessary clothing,food,etc. As well as the right to trade. This was helpful and sucessful because it helped the americans with their everyday lives
