- We live in Main, on a street near the old mill that shut down. All the houses look the same & our street is a dead end. Our Neighbor is the LeBlancs. We used to be great friends with them
- Hi, I'm Liv. Thats me & my mom & i'm gonna tell you a little about my life.
- That was until Dad died, now theres only two & a half of us left.
- It's not just me and mom. First There was Mom, Dad & Jonah Too.
- "Moms lawyer says it's best if Clay does't come around here anymore." Pg 5
- You may be wondering what I mean when I say half.
- My brother Jonah had an "incident" is what the lawyer called it.
- Clay & Jonah found Clays Dads gun. Jonah has always needed to be the funny guy, so, he jokingly picked the gun up.
- One day he was at his best friend, Clay LeBlancs, house & Clays mom asked the boys to put away decorations in the attic.
- "Waved it in the air, twirled it around his fingers, held it to his head." Pg 4
- "Jonah's bad hands found a gun in Clay's Attic." pg 4
- Jonah swung the gun round his finger and the brought the tip to his head and pushed it against his hair.
- Clay tried to warn Jonah the gun might be loaded, but Jonah didn't listen.
- I was sitting at home when I heard it. The gunshot that rang around the street, & the gunshot that made the ambulance come for Jonah.
