Stage 0: Acceptance
Still Open come back to School we still keep our language
Stage 1: Complaining
Stage 2: Protest
In 1899 the Boer War , was known to modern south Africans as the South African War, break out. After three years of fighting, the British defeated the Boers as Part of the deal, the British were now allowed to mine, and the Boers wanted to stay peaceful so they let the let them keep there language for Afrikaans School and Courts.
Stage 3: Revolution
The ANC and the apartheid were the two groups that were going against each other but the ANC had to complain cause African wanted the homelands to be independent but the homelands were in the most barren areas of the country. Then after independent, they remained completely dependent in South Africa. So another reason why the revolution started is because nonwhites had fewer educational opportunities by the law, they only got low-paying Manuel work., and African made up 75% of land by law they only made up 13% of land.
Stage 4: Recovery
"I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideaal which i hope to live for, and to see realized. But... if needs be, it is an ideal fro which i am prepared to die."
Apartheid which is a group of racial segregation in south Africa who killed hundreds of people or ANC (The African national congress). These groups of people were killed often for peacefully protesting but then got more violent after the second time around when the apartheid went to far and killed approximately 2 children and wounding much more.
The government begin to fall back from the harsh apartheid polices. The Constitutional reforms gave some political voice to "colored," or different races, and Asian South Africans. colored Africans, but were still denied any political involvement. To force South Africa to adapt its racist policies the international community forced economic sanctions.
After the revolution south Africa elected a new president F.W. DE Klerk he did a 30 year BAN ON Anti partied rallies and legalized the ANC and banned organizations. He also freed Nelson Mandela his release Mandela kept on repeating the words he had said on his trial case. (Nelson Mandela Source 1) the reason why Nelson was freed is to figure how Nelson could help the president build a new South Africa the Nelson later was elected president by the first all races election and in 1999 he retired and honored by Thabo Mbels
