Storyboard Text

  • Let's meet our contestants, Jackson and Lucy!!!
  • Hello! Welcome to the one and only Internet Safety for Teens Game Show!
  • I'm ready
  • When I finish reading the question you will buzz in. The first person to buzz in will answer. Here is the first question.
  • Jackson
  • What is one thing that you should do if someone is cyberbullying you?A. Keep it to yourself B. Block the person who is cyberbullying youC. Take it personallyD. Keep trying to be friends with the person
  • EASY! We learned about cyberbullying and how it effects people even in adulthood at school!
  • Great question! I hope they also know that they can report cyberbullying to any law enforcement, school, or trusted adults.
  • Game Show Host
  • Actually Lucy, the correct answer is b. It is best to not respond to cyberbullying messages, block the person, and then also print out or save evidence. Finally make sure to tell someone.
  • Ooh ooh I know! It's definitely d. I mean if you try to become friends with them, then they'll stop, right?
  • Social media includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat.
  • Good job Jackson! You are right! Before we move onto the break I want to add in one more piece of information: The most common place for cyberbullying is through social media texting , or emails.
  • Thank you for watching! Next up we will talk about your presence on the internet and digital footprints.
  • Can't wait to show off that I learned that a digital footprint is someone's activity online that leaves a trace on the internet!
