I know someone who studies and protects chimps
Jane left school in 1952 and couldn't afford to go to a university . She wanted to study animals in Africa.
I want to study chimps.
In 1960 Jane arrived on the shore of lake Tanganyika with the goal to study chimps. Jane tried to get up really close to study the chimps but it failed. she could get no closer then 500 yards. the chimps then let her get close every 30 feet each day.
Jane learned that chimps could hunt and make tool's and have some of the same human behavior.
Jane proved chimps and us humans share 98% of the same DNA so we are 98% chimp and chimps are 98% human
Jane now owns an institute called the Jane Goodall institute. the JGI is an environment conservation organization headquartered in Vienna Virginia.
