Storyboard Text

  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory "Good-Bye, Violet" Chapter 21
  • "This gum, is my latest, my greatest, my most fascinating invention! It's a chewing-gum meal!"
  • She grabbed the stick of gum and shoved into her mouth.
  • "Oh, to heck with that!"
  • "No, no, no, no, no! It isn't ready for eating! It isn't right! You mustn't do it
  • "It's changing! The second course is coming up! It's roast beef! It's tender and juicy!"
  • "Her face and hands and legs and neck, in fact the skin all over her body, as well as her great big mop of curly hair, had turned a brilliant, purplish blue, the color of blueberry juice!"
  • "Good heavens, girl! what's happening to your nose? It's turning blue! Your nose is turning blue as a blueberry!"
  •  "What do you mean?"
  • "It always happens like that,"
  • "Her body was swelling up and changing shape at such a rate that within a minute it had turned nothing less than an enormous round blue ball-a gigantic blueberry, in fact,"
  • "I feel sick, I feel most peculiar!"
  • Ten Oompa-Loompas rolled Violet into the river boat.
  • The End!
