  • Tomb Of The Pharaohs
  • Egyptian gods actually represent natural forces in the world. And the Egyptian people gave offerings to these gods with the hope the forces would be in balance. The people worshiped the gods in the temples. They worshiped to about 2000 gods which represented different forces in the universe.
  • Temples 
  • The Egyptians built the Pyramids for the kings and queens to help them get to the after life safely. The pyramids were tombs for the the King and Queens. They believed that if they put their treasures and valuables in the tomb with them they would be able to bring it with them to the after life.
  • Slave Daily Lives
  • The tombs were filled with the possessions and treasures of the pharaohs. the walls in the rooms were they were berried was covered with carvings and paintings. There were rooms next to the Pharaoh's chamber were his family members were buried.
  • Pharaohs 
  • Eqyptian temples were built for Eqyptians to worship their gods. They performed rituals in the temples. The Egyptians believed the rituals were necessary  so the gods would maintain order in the universe. The temples were places of worship not only for the pharaohs, but also for the common people.
  • Some wealthy Egyptians had slaves. Most slaves were captured enemies or criminals. The ancient Israelites in the Bible were slaves in Egypt. They were freed by the biblical prophet named Moses.
  • Pharaohs are the kings in Egypt. Pharaohs were the leaders of the government and the religion. Pharaohs reviewed as god like. Pharaohs were not only obeyed but also worshiped. Pharaohs were the owners of everything. There were about 170 Pharaohs.
