At the new Army base the generals told them that their wishes had been granted, they would be going over sees to help the officers first hand.
During their journey the girls ship was attacked by enemy fire. Miraculously their ship remained intact and the WACs made it to England safley.
While in England the WACs job was to sort mail and send it to the troops fighting the Nazis. Mail is incredibly important to any war effort, without mail most soldiers would have no motivation. However before the WACs no one had been organizing the mail so thy had mountains of letters and packages to sort through in a short amount of time.
The WACs did better than any male battalion ever could the mountains of mail were cleared and sent off to soldiers in the war. The WACs were transferred to France.
Finally all of their hard work was acknowledged, as they walked the streets of France they were met with cheers of triumph and the knowledge that germany had surrendered.
